I have a passion for working with clients from all walks of life (7 years and up). I also am an advocate for clients from diverse cultural backgrounds, identities, and orientations, including LGBTQ+. Whether you are looking to tackle your relationship with food and body, dive deep into your relationships, or looking for someone to talk to about daily life stressors, we can move mountains together in individual sessions.
Frequency
Individual sessions can be twice a week, weekly, biweekly, or monthly depending on each individual. I typically recommend weekly at least the first 4-6 weeks to build therapeutic rapport and allow time to finish paperwork. My goal is to work myself out of a job and client's symptoms to improve, so I will never recommend a higher frequency of sessions than is needed and will continually monitor progress!
How long a client needs to meet weekly will depend on many factors.
If there is something that I am not well versed in, such as sexual orientation, systemic oppression, or religion, I will inquire and ask questions to learn more about the topic. I will also do my own work outside of the session to make sure I am able to be present with you. I will always encourage clients to find their best fit and support them in being part of their recovery process.
